Here are some selections from my portfolio sketchbook I did over the summer. :) Despite the stress, it was good times. I like the result, and feel like I learned a lot.

Speed Painting #10
Marathon resumes! Trying Anh's method: Blocking out the large shapes fuzzily, then working it out in the 4 quadrants. I deviated from the plan a bit, but I like it overall.
Source: Can't find the site I originally found it on (because apparently it is on every site for this thing), but the subject is Kilchurn Castle.

Speed Painting #8
Haven't done one of these in a while! Kinda forgot how. I need to start focusing on bigger shapes, spent way too much time zoomed in while working on this.

Portfolio: First Draft
Hello all! I am applying to the portfolio review this semester. Tonight's the peer review, and I want to fix up a few things before then (some things need to be re-scanned, lighting on the Maya project needs to be fixed, and I still have some figures to go over), but here's what I have so far. There are purposely more pages of figure drawing than I'm planning on having in the end.
Critiques are more than welcome, tear it apart!
